Amanda Jones

Amanda has been obsessed with cooking for her pets for as long as she can remember. She has made her own dog biscuits for her dogs and has given them away to friends during the holidays. She enjoys coming up with her own recipes.
She has been involved in dogs since she was a little girl, has been training them since she was about ten years of age, and started showing in Junior Showmanship classes as a teen. She currently is searching for her next show dog. In addition to dogs, she has kept a variety of animals, both domestic and exotic, including rats and other rodents, rabbits, skunks, reptiles and cats.
She has rescued several cats that have come her way. For some reason they seem to know where to go to get help!
She has written several pet-related articles, including how to care for different types of pets, choosing pets for children, and an article on taming frightened animals.
Amanda is an urban farmer and grows her own sprouts, wheat grass and vegetables on her apartment patio. She believes in using fresh ingredients for both herself and her pets.
She lives in Sacramento, CA with a wide variety of critters.
